The contract is complex and can be affected by court rulings or grievance and arbitration settlements. Contact a union council delegate on sections that may be unclear.
- Watch for key phrases:
- Terms such as "could", "may", "should", etc. indicate that there is an option or another section that may govern. Usually you will be referred to the section or the options given.
- Terms such as "will", "must", "require", etc. indicate that the section has to be met.
- Contact your a union council delegate or the union office (8603 or cupeu@alcor.concordia.ca) for information on the section and how it is applied.
