Should you be asked to do work that seems illegal or unethical, follow these guidelines:
- If you feel that the work you are being asked to do is a violation of university policy or regulations, or is morally or ethically unacceptable, contact the union (local 8603) for assistance.
- Refusal to perform the requested work should be considered your last course of action as it could result in disciplinary action from the University.
- Rather, if at all possible, delay doing the work until you have had an opportunity to discuss it with a union representative.
